Step 6- The fermentation process – the yeast is added as it fills in the vessel. This converts the sugary wort into a beer thereby producing alcohol and with a range of flavors plus carbon dioxide. This process is also responsible for giving a beer its sparkling effect.
Step 7- Maturatio n- now that it has passed the fermentation process, this produces a “green” beer that needs to be matured which allows it to develop certain flavors and a smooth finish.
Step 8- Filtration, Cellaring, and carbonation- after the beer has reached its fullest potential. Its beer is filtered, carbonated and are transferred right to the beer tank. The process of cellaring takes about 3 to 4 weeks for it to complete everything. After the process is completed, the beer is then ready for packaging.
